Phil Spencer Strongly Hints at Elder Scrolls 6 Being an Xbox Exclusive But was it Surprising?

Speculations regarding Elder Scrolls 6 being an Xbox Exclusive has rounded conversations for a long and as of now, this speculation turns out to be true. Previous speculations such as Jeff Grubb’s tweet and a teaser by Bethesda’s Pete Hines hinted that the game will be an exclusive launch for the Xbox consoles. Now that the word comes from Xbox’s boss Phil Spencer, it seems like this thing is actually true.

And some people, who weren’t anticipating this, certainly are surprised.

Elder Scrolls 6 to be exclusively available for Xbox

Jeff Grubb had hinted towards Bethesda games being Xbox exclusives on Twitter a few months ago, in August.

Later, Xbox CEO Phil Spencer confirmed in an interview with GQ that Elder Scrolls 6 will be exclusive to the Xbox Console. The interview touched upon various themes surrounding Xbox and one of them was Starfield being an Xbox and PC exclusive. He says, “It’s not about punishing any other platform like I fundamentally believe all of the platforms can continue to grow. But in order to be on Xbox, I want us to be able to bring the full complete package of what we have. And that would be true when I think about Elder Scrolls VI. That would be true when I think about any of our franchises.”

Xbox 20th anniversary special edition controller features Phil Spencer’s signature

Microsoft launched a special edition controller on completing two decades serving the gaming community through Xbox Gaming. The controller looks really dope with its neon green accent and Xbox 20 years logo. The back panel of the controller consists of a special message and signature of Xbox boss Phil Spencer.

It seems Xbox is once again on a mission to recapture the gaming market with its new strategies and plans for future games and consoles.
