Tomorrow is D-Day for Canterbury's Kieran Foran in his bold bid to return to football in this weekend's round three clash against his old club Manly.
Foran was expected to miss much of this season when he injured his shoulder last year and there was even talk of a medical retirement.
Foran has made remarkable progress while the game has been in lockdown and has been back in full contact training for a month - but it will all come down to a visit to a shoulder specialist tomorrow.
Foran will have a scan before the appointment and his fate will be decided by how the specialist reads the MRI.
"The shoulder has been great and mentally, Kieran is also very strong again," a Bulldogs insider said.
"It would be a great boost for us if he got the thumbs up for the weekend."
