Alpine’s Esteban Ocon was denied his second podium this season at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix by Valtteri Bottas. As Ocon was about to cross the line in third place, Bottas pushed his Mercedes to the limit to beat the French driver for a podium finish.
Being so close to having achieved his second podium for the Enstone-based team, it is understandable that the French driver was furious with himself, as he crossed the line and had to settle for fourth place

Ocon seemed to have bagged third place in Jeddah for the Saudi Arabian GP. However, he wasn’t expecting the Mercedes to push him till the very end of the race. As Bottas stole third place from Esteban; he came onto the team radio to share his frustration.
He said, “No, for f**k sake. Joke, f**k,” being told by his race engineer to keep his head up, Ocon said, “There was straight-line speed at the end there for f**k sake, missed by not much.” He added, “Yeah sorry guys, sorry for that.”

Who the dramatic race in Jeddah?
Lewis Hamilton has won three races in a row after winning the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix in Jeddah. The Knight earned twenty-six points, bringing his total in the driver’s championship to 369.5.
Meanwhile, his title rival, Max Verstappen, was defeated by Hamilton and had to settle for second place, earning eighteen points in Jeddah. As a result of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, they are tied on points.
