Sean Woodson and Collin Anglin met in a featherweight fight at UFC Vegas 42. Woodson, from the very start of the fight, was aggressive and went after his opponent. He landed some huge body shots and with precision, which ultimately led to Anglin folding from the pain in the very first round.
‘The Sniper’ showed why he is called that, as he landed 50 significant strikes, most ever in a 1-round UFC Featherweight fight. Both men traded strikes at the start of the fight, but Woodson kept chopping Anglin down. He had Anglin in trouble and wobbly, and started landing some serious shots and combos on him. ‘The Sniper’ finished the fight with some vicious liver shots, which dropped his opponent.

Woodson is now 9-1 in his MMA career and on a two-fight win streak. This was his fourth fight in the UFC and is 3-1. Finishing the year with an impressive win like this will only help his stock for next year. Anglin, on the other hand, is not 8-3 in his career and has lost the last two- fights. He would want to bounce back quickly from the loss and get back to winning ways. He was on a seven-fight win streak before the back-to-back losses.

‘The Sniper’ was the favorite coming into the fight, but not many expected him to put on a display like that. He broke his opponent down and won dominantly. The MMA fans liked his performance and showed their appreciation.
