The GOAT debate between Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, and Novak Djokovic seems to have been going on forever. Every fan has their favorite and would defend them to the death, but recently, it seems like Nole is stealing the march on his competitors. The Serbian ace has managed to break records and set his own in recent times.
The 34-year-old man from Serbia was trailing behind his rivals Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for a number of years. However, Novak Djokovic has now equaled them on 20 Grand Slam titles each. He was today competing in the Rolex Paris Masters and beat Daniil Medvedev in the final.
In doing so, he surpassed Nadal and is on 37 ATP Masters 1000 titles. Prior to this, he accomplished a great feat by ending the year as the World No. 1 player for a record 7th time in his career. He overtook American great Pete Sampras, as they both were tied on six. Listed below are more such statistics that prove the Serb to be superior to any other player.

Novak Djokovic can earn even more success this season
It doesn’t end here for Novak this season, as he could set another record at the season-ending ATP Finals. He is tied with Pete Sampras and Ivan Lendl, who have both won the tournament five times previously. He will join Roger Federer at 6 ATP Finals titles if he can win the year-end tournament in Italy.
Although Djokovic lost the US Open final, he managed to win the final against Medvedev today and got his revenge over the Russian player. It was not an easy task as the match went the distance.
Djokovic lost the first set but managed to claw back and find his rhythm. Eventually, he ended up winning the match, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3. Both players will now have a chance of coming across each other in Turin, at the ATP Finals 2021. We wish all players the best of luck and may the better player win.
