Rickie Fowler has had a miserable 18 months on the PGA Tour. Since the Tour began after the pandemic break, Fowler has struggled with his game.
Moreover, Fowler couldn’t even make it to the FedExCup playoffs as he finished the season outside the top 125. However, he has maintained his PGA Tour card thanks to his incredible performances in the past.
Meanwhile, Rickie Fowler will now look to forget the previous season and start off fresh. Moreover, the 2021 Shriners Hospitals Children Open will be his first event of this season. Hence, he will be looking to start on a positive note.
Ron Green Jr. advises Rickie Fowler
Rickie Fowler is all set to tee off his 2021-22 PGA Tour season at the Shriners Hospitals For Children Open. Meanwhile, Global Golf Post’s Ron Green Jr. recently talked about Rickie’s form and what he has to do to turn his game around this season.
“It would be great if he can just get off to a fast start like a top-five immediately,” said Ron. “I know they are used to playing with people watching, but I think he is playing under that burden right now, much like Jordan Spieth played for a while.”
Furthermore, he even said fans nowadays watch Fowler with skepticism rather than anticipation, which is not entirely false. His performance was not at all great last season as he just had one top-10 finish with no victories.

Moreover, Ron Green Jr. continued, “He will tell ya he needs to play better, and here’s a week to start doing it. He keeps talking as most players do that they’re getting closer. But you know you want that horizon to get a little closer.”

Meanwhile, even Rickie Fowler will be hopeful of getting his form back as Jordan Spieth did it a few months ago. But for that, he needs to put some work on the range along with someone who understands his game.
While Fowler may not be in the best of forms lately, he is still a great player and once he gets a good finish in an event, then there will be no stopping him.
