Another trend has taken over Twitter and this time, its red flags. All social media platforms are full of memes and posts with small red flags and its overwhelming. We know, we were confused too. But, don’t worry, we’re here to help you out. And we’ll even explain how LPGA twitter totally won us over with their tweet.
Ideally, a red flag is used to denote and draw people’s attention towards a problem or issue. It can be regarding a relationship, someone’s behavior or comments, or even a practice. Similarly, this trend is simply a way to express something that people feel is problematic.
Everyone joined in on this trend. However, a tweet by the official LPGA Twitter account beat all the rest. Let’s take a look at what they said.
LPGA Twitter joins on the viral red flag trend
A few hours ago, the official LPGA Twitter account picked up on the trend. Moreover, they used this opportunity to hit back on all the haters who criticize and demean the LPGA golfers. Along with the many red flags, they wrote, “Anyone with a 4-handicap could win on the LPGA Tour.”

This comes after a lot of spiteful comments were directed towards the standard of play at the Tour events. Despite a healthy and competitive level, it was compared to men’s golf and was undermined. However, with this tweet, they basically are trying to highlight the absurdity of this statement.
People in the comment section were of varying thoughts. While some felt this was exaggerated, most were of the opinion that such comments were regular and were, in fact, stupid.

Similarly, a lot of people say golf is not a sport and does not require any athleticism. The official PGA Tour account was quick to hop onto the trend and attack the haters. They tweeted, “Golf is not a real sport.”
