Fans react to the Warriors signing Avery Bradley

Unsurprisingly, fans’ reaction were a bit mixed, though most people are excited to see how Bradley fits into the roster. Some refered to him as a great defender, while others wondered if his offensive skills will be enough.

Certain users remained confused over the teams’ choice, asking the Warriors about choosing Bradley over someone like Thomas. Despite some resistance, majority of the responses were positive, happy about the Warriors acquiring Bradley ahead of the training camp.

Additionally, as this is only a spot for the training camp, Bradley might have competition for the 15th roster spot. The 30-year-old needs to complement other Warriors’ players well, his defense playing a pivotal role.

Having started his career with the Boston Celtics, Bradley has been with various teams since 2017. His only title comes with the 2020 Lakers, the Seattle-native opting out of the NBA restart at the Orlando bubble. Bradley played with the Miami Heat and Houston Rockets last season, already looking for a new place to play in.

The Warriors have been without some key players for two years, only resulting them not making the playoffs. With Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry back, the team will surely aim to regain their dominance.
