The 2020 Tokyo Olympics has the world glued to its TV screens. With each country cheering for their players, only the best of the best can win the goal. Tamyra Mensah-Stock made history at the Tokyo Olympics by becoming the first American Black woman to win gold at wrestling. Speaking to Peacock’s Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbaja-Biamila following her win, she was asked about her thoughts on joining WWE.
Gbaja-Biamila revealed that he grew up watching old-school wrestling from WWF to WWE. He added that watching Tamyra in the Olympics made him realize that she not only has the moves but also the personality to make it big in the ring.
Tamyra quickly responded, “I want to!,” Iseman also added, “Vince McMahon, I hope you’re listening!” What an incredible asset she will be if she decides to enter the squared circle of WWE.

The fans also love the idea of watching another Olympic Gold Medalist grace the arena. She could be the next Ronda Rousey and reach the sky and beyond in the company.
A female equvilent to a Kurt Angle or a Chad Gable in Pro Wrestling? I’d be down to see that. Whether it be WWE, AEW or anywhere else, I’d be down for this. She also seems very down to earth as well which helps.

Given the recent upliftment in the women’s division of the company, Tamyra would be a perfect fit. It is now up to Vince McMahon to follow through with it.
