However, Pacquiao will still appear on the date and reportedly take on WBA titlist Yordenis Ugas.
The sudden derailment in Pacquiao vs Spence Jr. will also influence the ongoing championship ride in the 147 lbs roister. Errol Spence Jr’s departure from the bout will also take away the WBC and IBF championship status from the nearing PPV. That said, the vacant Ring 147 lbs belt can remain at stake along with Ugas’ WBA title.
However, no specific update has been revealed regarding the championships aligned. Reporter Michael Benson broke the news via social media, which seemingly disheartened several fans. Meanwhile, it has also put sheer doubts regarding the fruition of Errol Spence Jr. vs Manny Pacquiao, which may never happen again.
