Today marks Bryant’s 43rd birthday. Twitter celebrated one of the league’s best players ever with various posts. Notably, his team, the Los Angeles Lakers posted a thread of his best moments. Here is a look at how the Lakers honored Kobe Bryant on his birthday.

However, the journey was never easy; there were times when Bryant almost gave up on the Lakers. Notably, there were rumors about his trade to the Chicago Bulls in 2003. However, he stayed strong and went on to become synonymous with the Lakers.

The main focus was given to his mentality and showcased the toughest moments of his career. The Mamba made the All-Star game a record 18 times in his career; moreover, he is also the youngest player to be a part of the All-Star game. Kobe was one of the best defensive guards in his time, making All-Defensive first team 9 times.

He won the All-Star MVP 4 times, scoring champion 2 times and 2 finals MVP as well. Hence, he is regarded as the greatest Laker of all time, and deserves the credit he gets.
