Milwaukee Bucks Star Brook Lopez Leads Kevin Durant and James Harden in Stunning NBA Record

The Milwaukee Bucks have finally made it to the Finals after a wait of 47 years. While Giannis Antetokounmpo is arguably the talisman, big man Brook Lopez has held down the restricted area for the Bucks for a while now.

The veteran big man who has been a key rotational piece for the Bucks has anchored the defense and also grabs a bunch of rebounds for the ball club. Also chipping in with some points, the 7’1″ big man has become an important piece for the Eastern Conference champions.

While Lopez has been decent in this season’s playoffs, he went off in game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals. Despite missing talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks saw their veteran big man put on a show as he put up 33-points. The Bucks will hope that their 32-year-old can limit the Suns’ DeAndre Ayton and make his shots and help them win their second title in franchise history.

Brook Lopez tops Kevin Durant and James Harden in Nets history books

Lopez has been playing for the Bucks for the last three years, but before that the 1-time All-Star has played for two other teams, the LA Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets. While Lopez’ stint as a Laker was one to forget, he had a rather decent enough history with the Nets.

Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving might be donning the Black and White jersey, the 32-year-old center, is truly one of the teams legends. Playing for the Nets for a whopping 9 seasons with the team, Lopez racked up one All-Star appearance and averaged 18.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.7 blocks per game.

He is also the leading scorer of the franchise scoring 10444 points surpassing legend Buck Williams only by 4 points. The veteran center was also part of the infamous Nets side featuring the likes of an aging Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.

Lopez continued to be elite for the Nets, but the aging guards and veterans couldn’t hold the fort for the Brooklyn who came down crashing down. While he couldn’t come anywhere near the NBA finals with the Nets’ super-team, the 32-year-old is now all set to make his first Finals appearance.

If he wants to win his first championship, he will have to be elite for the Eastern Conference champions given that talisman Giannis Antetokounmpo might not be a 100% for the team. Can Lopez help the Milwaukee Bucks capture their second NBA championship?
