Triple H Walks Out to DX Song With Joel Embiid, Breaks Out the Iconic “S**K It” Pose Before NBA Playoff Game

Just like non-wrestling celebrities make cameos in WWE, wrestlers from WWE too, make cameos in other sports. This crossover system dates back to the first WrestleMania in 1985 when Muhammed Ali cameoed as a referee. Triple H is the latest example of the same.

The fans of the Philadelphia 76ers got the surprise of a lifetime when “The Game” Triple H walked out with Joel Embiid to the infamous D-Genration X theme music. They even did the “Suck It” gesture to the absolute delight of the fans, who just couldn’t stop cheering at the sight.

Ringing the bell before a game is a great tradition in the NBA. But what the fans didn’t expect was a twist in the process. The ‘Fourteen time World Champion’ hyped up the crowd and rang the bell with his infamous sledgehammer. Joel also did his part in the “Suck It” taunt. The live crowd was ecstatic. Triple H also tweeted the moment.

It was the crossover we didn’t know we needed. It indeed was a refreshing sight for fans of both wrestling and basketball.

Impact of Triple H on WWE in recent years

Since we are talking about the impact Triple H had on the fans before the game, let us also look at his impact on WWE over the years. “The Game” has remarkably improved the quality of wrestlers and the company as a whole.

Before Triple H arrived on the scene, WWE’s women’s division was nowhere near the quality it is now. People didn’t connect or had any interest in watching female wrestling. The changes that “The Game” made have really enhanced the overall quality of the product. Triple H had to shoulder a massive company with viewership going down with each passing year. To his credit, he has lived up to task and more.

We cannot say that WWE has reached the levels of its past glory, but it definitely is on the right track with “The Game” at the helm.

After Triple H’s cameo in an NBA game, the fans are speculating if an NBA player will do the same. Let’s hope for the best.
