NSW skipper James Tedesco was awarded man of the match honours after a standout performance during the Blues' series-clinching win over the Maroons.
While Tedesco's honour would've been met with a close finish from teammate Latrell Mitchell's starring role, ultimately it went the way of the fullback in his first series win as captain.
Tedesco was crucial on both sides of the ball as the Blues kept the Maroons scoreless in their 26-0 drubbing.
But with ball in hand, Tedesco exposed a lot of Queensland's defensive woes. The fullback notched two try assists, both of which were to winger Josh Addo-Carr, he amassed 234 run metres and was a nightmare to keep down for defenders with 10 tackle breaks.
"That [win] was unbelievable," Tedesco told Nine after the match.
"The quality of players we have in this team is unreal, it's awesome to play with.
"I'm playing with the best players in the game and to come out here at Suncorp, and to keep them to nil and win by that much (26 points), it's pretty special.
"I was just enjoying myself, having fun out there. Playing with some of the best players in the game makes my job easier.
"We knew they (Queensland) would come harder and faster, especially at Suncorp, but we weathered the Storm.
"We knew if we did the little things right in the first half, the scoreboard will take care of itself, it's exactly what we did. It was awesome.
"I was just enjoying myself, having fun out there."
