WATCH: Pregnant Caroline Wozniacki Aces on the Tennis Court

Caroline Wozniacki is one of the few tennis players who soared high in WTA Rankings on the shoulders of their defensive prowess. Although she doesn’t play professional tennis anymore, it does not keep her away from showing off her skills on the court.

At the Australian Open 2020, the former World No.1 retired after her third-round loss to Tunisian professional Ons Jabeur. Since then, she is embracing the after-tennis life with her husband, ex-NBA star David Lee.

The couple, who married in June 2019, are expecting their first child in June 2021. Given the pregnancy, the baby girl in Wozniacki’s belly is already learning the innate skills of a tennis player.

Pregnant Caroline Wozniacki flaunting her clean forehand

The 2018 Australian Open champion Caroline Wozniacki recently shared her tennis session on Instagram. In the video, she looked fit and gleaming as she flaunted her clean forehand returns.

Furthermore, she captioned the video, “Wanted to see if I still got it,” on Instagram. In response, the Dane found no fans with an otherwise opinion. Instead, many of her former colleagues gave some positive feedback.

Before this, Wozniacki shared a snapshot of her growing belly. Naturally, she is enjoying her motherhood journey and ‘bumpin’ along,’ as her caption said.

The baby girl will arrive in June 2021 and begin another chapter in Caroline’s life. Hopefully, it will be as glorious and inspiring as her professional tennis career.

Wozniacki’s incredible career

Unlike most tennis players, Caroline made more friendships than rivalries on the tennis court. She remains the best friend of 23-time Grand Slam champion Serena Williams.

In her more than a decade-long career, Caroline won 30 WTA titles, including the Happy Slam in 2018. Before her maiden Grand Slam, the Dane also conquered the Tour Finals for the first time in 2017.

Moreover, Wozniacki finished as the year-end No.1 in 2010 and 2011. Overall, she spent 71 weeks on the top spot in WTA Rankings.

Also, many players, including her best friend Serena, have made a successful comeback after pregnancy. Thus, fans might expect the 30-year-old to pick her racquet up again for a professional competition. Above all, her farewell match against Serena in 2021 will allow fans to watch her in full glory again.
