Jose Zepeda Outclasses Veteran Henry Lundy With a Unanimous Decision Victory

The WBC silver super-lightweight title bout between Jose Zepeda and Henry Lundy certainly stayed true to its hype. Both the fighters put on an enigmatic performance and kept the fans on their toes. However, the champ Jose Zepeda came out and gave his best to win this fight via a unanimous decision.

The underdog Lundy began the fight on a good note as he adopted an offensive approach. The southpaw went toe to toe against the champ Zepeda from the very first bell. ‘Chon’ on the other hand, tried decoding Lundy’s style and came right on top with some solid body shots.

Zepeda, in his illustrious boxing run, has taken on many hotshots. This was his first title defense for his WBC silver super-lightweight strap, and the 31-year-old implemented his strategies until the last gong.

With this win, ‘Chon’ has improved to a momentous 34 wins with just 2 losses on his pro-resume. This is unquestionably his best performance to date. Because there were a few moments in the fight wherein the champ got staggered by his fellow adversary.

But, he kept his composure on top to claim a win, thus displaying a champion mindset.
