Australian golfing legend Greg Norman has given his fans an update on his COVID-19 status overnight, after revealing yesterday that he had tested positive.
The two-time British Open winner was diagnosed after he took himself to the emergency room on Christmas day.
In an Instagram post from his Florida home, Norman provided fans with an update on his health, sharing that he was now home from hospital.

"I am home now after admitting myself to the ER yesterday, Christmas Day, with symptoms very suspicious to what I have read about relating to COVID."
He went on to explain that he tested negative under the PGA tour bubble and then was negative again on last Tuesday, however when symptoms begun to increase, he knew there was something wrong.
"Symptoms raised there (sic) ugly head - fever joint and muscle aches especially in my back and headaches. Still have most but on a lesser level. These are what made me admit myself on Christmas Day as I wanted to know my status to COVID for the health and safety for all around me," he continued adding that following a chest X-ray that showed two markers, his doctor was sure he was positive.
"They released me to continue quarantining at home on medication in our guest house away from the main house.
"Until I get 2 consecutive negative tests I will continue to isolate with my dog Apollo keeping me company. Again thank you all for your concerns love and support and please be safe stay healthy and be smart. And let's put this 2020 in our rearview mirrors and look to 2021 and beyond where we can get back to life in whatever the new normal will be. God bless you all."
In a similar post, his son also revealed that he and his fiancee had also tested positive.

"Michelle got it hard. 4 days of fever, body aches, migraine headaches. I maybe had a slight headache. Really nothing. We are already feeling better.
"Such a strange virus, I barely felt a thing and Michelle got hit hard by it. Michelle is incredibly healthy and extremely fit. We both feel we went above and beyond on protocols to avoid the virus. Stay healthy everyone!"
