AEW Superstar Chris Jericho Fires Back At Fans Bodyshaming Him on Twitter

The ‘Holiday Bash’ edition of AEW Dynamite aired after the NBA game of Boston Celtics vs. Milwaukee Bucks game on TNT. Following the show, Chris Jericho trended on Twitter, for all the wrong reasons!

Some old wrestling fans stayed back after the game to watch Dynamite. The first match in the show was Inner Circle vs Top Flight. Putting aside the match, many were shocked to see Jericho, the leader of the Inner Circle, in a ‘shabby’ physique. Soon they started tweeting and it became a huge thing.

After all these years in the business, Jericho has developed a thick skin for haters and trolls on the internet. However this time. the ‘Le Champion’ clapped back.

A fan showed support for Jericho as he wrote, “People are body shaming one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The dude is 50+ and probably in better shape than half the trolls on here.”

Apart from his fans, Jericho found an unlikely ally in fellow AEW member, Abandon. She posted –

Despite the Twitter drama, Jericho is thriving in AEW. He and the Inner Circle picked up the first victory of Holiday Bash as they defeated Top Flight. Wrestling Observer Radio noted that Jericho turned down many ideas from Top Flight and conducted the match in his way.
