Even after retirement, Henry Cejudo is looking like the same fighter, at least on Twitter. Apart from campaigning for a fight against Alexander Volkanovski, Cejudo has been taking a lot of jibes at Sean O’Malley. This time around, ‘Triple C’ went after O’Malley for copying his pose.
Brandon Harris, the movement coach of Sean O’Malley posted a picture with the latter. O’Malley had his fists clenched in front of him, a pose that is reminiscent of the former double champ Henry Cejudo. The now-retired Cejudo took notice of the same. As was expected from him, Cejudo didn’t spare the UFC bantamweight.
Stop trying to take my pose you Dirty q-tip!
O’Mally should be sponsored by viagra since all he does is go limp @SugaSeanMMA pic.twitter.com/DLp1pg7vyG— Henry Cejudo (@HenryCejudo) August 27, 2020
“Stop trying to take my pose you Dirty q-tip! O’Mally should be sponsored by viagra since all he does is go limp,” Cejudo wrote on Twitter.
Henry Cejudo and Sean O’Malley have been beefing for the past few months
Cejudo’s retirement from the UFC was stuffed between the rise of Sean O’Malley. ‘The Suger Show’ made a comeback in the UFC in March at UFC 248. Following wins at that event along with UFC 250, Sean O’Malley garnered tremendous hype around him in a relatively short time.
In between those O’Malley wins, Henry Cejudo defended his belt against Dominick Cruz and subsequently hung up his gloves. O’Malley commented on the same by saying that Cejudo’s decision may have been a result of his girlfriend taking over his life.
Cejudo clapped back at O’Malley reminding him that his resume is one of the best in the sport. The back and forth continued between the two. When O’Malley suffered his first career defeat against Marlon Vera at UFC 252, Cejudo didn’t let the opportunity subside without trolling the 25-year old.
Cejudo blasted O’Malley for ‘barking’ and not backing it up. He claimed that O’Malley got knocked out after ‘breaking his nail’ while he fought Demetrious Johnson and Marlon Moraes with ‘no legs’.
I fought DJ and Marlon with no legs! This two pump chump broke his nail and can’t compete. #levels https://t.co/bca2cYooBA

Given how active he is, a comeback for Henry Cejudo isn’t really a far-fetched dream. He has already laid out the condition for the same – a fight with featherweight champ Alexander Volkanovski. The fight will be an opportunity for Cejudo to become a three-division champion in the UFC.
