Test and Origin star Cameron Murray has extended his contract with the South Sydney Rabbitohs until the end of 2025.
Murray, 22, has added four more seasons to his existing Rabbitohs deal. He is the reigning Dally M Lock of the Year, making his debut for both NSW and Australia last season.
The local junior has played 62 games for Souths and was the club's Players' Player last season.
"It's very exciting for me and a great relief to have a large chunk of my future sorted now, and to know it will be at this club that I love is very special for me and my family," Murray said in a Rabbitohs statement.
"For almost the next six years at least I will be a Rabbitoh and the journey is really only just starting for me."
Rabbitohs head of football Mark Ellison said Murray's re-signing was a coup.
"I've watched Cameron play since he was five years of age. He never ceases to amaze me," Ellison said.
"Cameron is South Sydney through-and-through and we could not be happier to know he sees his long term future here with the club.
"He has worked very hard to get to the position he is in now and the next challenge for him is to become the leader we all know he can be, as well as to cement himself in the NSW and Australian representative sides."
Murray has starred as an undersized but fleet-footed middle forward, though he was tried as an edge back-rower to start this season. He is a class player who NRL champion Paul Gallen recently tipped as a likely great of the next generation.
"Cam is a great player. He's already proven that, playing for NSW and also earning a Test debut last year," Gallen wrote in his Wide World of Sports column.
"He has a great work ethic, on top of being a polished sort of bloke for a young leaguey. Maybe it's the union background!
"Cam speaks and presents really well on top of being a terrific player. He's the full package and I'm glad he's a proper leaguey now.
"He's got plenty of skill, he's tough and if he maintains the trajectory that he's been on for the past couple of years, then he will certainly be a generational player.
"Still just 22, he's already achieved a lot and has got plenty left in front of him."
South Sydney will resume their season against the Roosters on Friday, with a current 1-1 record.
