We saw Beth Phoenix doing commentary for the developmental brand of WWE (NXT) for the last time during the 2021 NXT WarGames PPV. Beth Phoenix received a lot of wishes from the WWE superstars recently after she announced that she will step down from her role in WWE NXT. Now, Beth Phoenix’s husband, Edge, wrote an emotional post on Instagram for her wife after her last night on NXT.
Edge heavily praised Beth Phoenix for the job she did for over three years in NXT. In his post, Edge admitted it was a job that Phoenix never thought she will do. However, Edge claimed Beth had excelled at her job. In the caption, he wrote, “This is a job she never thought she’d do, let alone excel at. She’s her own toughest critic.”
The former WWE Champion claimed Beth is her own toughest critic. He also thanked her colleagues for being a part of her wonderful journey in NXT. “But thanks to some wonderful partners along the way, and some serious work put in, including doing it remotely during the pandemic, she blossomed, as she always does,” Edge wrote in his post.

But there is an interesting part to this story. Even though Beth Phoenix has stepped down from her role in NXT, she will continue to be a part of WWE. So, there remains a high possibility that he will join Edge on Raw soon.

Will Beth Phoenix join Edge on Monday Night Raw?
Edge returned to WWE last week on Monday Night Raw after defeating Seth Rollins at the Crown Jewel PPV. But he was not the only former WWE Champion who returned to WWE that night. The Miz, along with his wife, Maryse, returned to WWE last week.
The two superstars got involved in a heated segment on Monday Night Raw. Not only did The Miz fire shots at the Rated-R Superstar, Maryse too got involved. So, WWE might now plan to bring Beth Phoenix to WWE Raw to pair her up with her husband, Edge. Edge and Beth Phoenix vs The Miz and Maryse will be a treat for the WWE Universe.
