American tennis player and legend Serena Williams has been a true face of this beautiful game. The manner in which she has gone about things throughout her career has been second to none. However, for her to become the player she has, there has been a lot of hard work put in behind the scenes.
Throughout Williams’ career, the main force behind her was her father Richard Williams. He encouraged not only Serena but also his other daughter Venus into making them the players they are today. He certainly deserves a milestone of credit as if it wouldn’t have been for him, one may not know what the future would’ve been for the William sisters.
Recently, there was some news surrounding Serena Williams in which she spoke about her father. She stated, “My dad was and still is way before his time. You see, when someone is different—when they don’t act or look how a person assumed they would—the first reaction is often fear. They think, How do we break them? My dad anticipated that, but he would not allow himself or his family to be broken.”

‘King Richard,’ based on the life of the great man who groomed his daughters to capture the tennis world, is set to be released on November 19. His character is played by Hollywood legend Will Smith.
Coming to tennis, Serena has not competed in an event since losing at the Wimbledon Championships. She missed the US Open as she was suffering from a hamstring injury. We hope to see her fully fit and recover for the 2022 season. It will be interesting to see if she can win a Major in the upcoming season.
