An ardent Spurs fan, Marvel’s Spider-Man: No Way Home star, Tom Holland, recently confessed his love for the North-London club. Apart from promoting his film, he made the surprising revelation, sending fans into a frenzy.

Tom Holland loves Tottenham Hotspur

The talented actor sat down for an interview to discuss his love for soccer. When asked about his dream UEFA Champions League final, his answer left many fans puzzled.

“I’d want to see Tottenham play Brentford cause Tottenham’s my team and Brentford’s my uncle’s team. Probably right now we wouldn’t beat Brentford, but I fancy our chances,” said Holland.

Even though a little surprising, Brentford’s heroics this season are no secret. The team has surprised many fans in England with their attacking soccer. Manager Thomas Frank has done a good job in motivating his players with no fear. Spurs, on the other hand, got Conte and his man-management skills are well known. However, a final between these two clubs seems like a long shot but would be a worthwhile watch.

Spurs can reach the Champions League final

Given that Spurs have reached the final before, Tom’s idea does not seem so unrealistic after all. During the 2019 campaign, Lucas Moura’s incredible performance took them to a Champions League final against Liverpool. However, the team lost the match, eventually.
