Australian-Greek origin player Nick Kyrgios is one of the most entertaining personalities in tennis. Over the years, he has built a great rapport with fans from all around the globe. After the ‘Big Three’, he is one of the most followed ATP personalities by the tennis audience.
Recently, Nick Kyrgios has started the “No Boundaries” podcast, the name incredibly appropriate for a player who’s never shy of speaking his mind. In a recent episode, he talked about playing with American tennis players, Amanda Anisimova and the great Serena Williams.
Nick praised Anisimova’s ball-striking and then went on to talk about the 23-time Grand Slam Champion.

The 26-year-old player spoke about playing with Serena and stated, “I’ve hit with Serena before, I played mixed doubles with her. Obviously, and it was the most uncomfortable experience for me because she was trying to do everything and I was like I’m better than you.” He and his friends immediately broke into a laugh after Nick said he was better than Serena.

Kyrgios also played with Serena’s sister, the 7-time Grand Slam champ Venus Williams in the Wimbledon mixed doubles this year.
Coming to his 2021 season, Kyrgios competed in the Australian Open and lost in the third round. After that, he had to retire midway from his singles match at the Wimbledon Championships due to an abdominal injury. Due to the injury, he was unable to play the second round mixed doubles match with Venus as well.
At the US Open, he lost in the initial rounds. At the moment, he is recovering from an injury he sustained towards the end of the 2021 campaign and training for the upcoming 2022 season.
