Arizona Cardinals have had a fiery start to their NFL season with 8 wins in 10 fixtures. The NFC West leaders have had a lot of success on field but off-field, their luck seems to be running out. Recently, their fundamental problem has been Kyler Murray and his injury.
The star quarterback has been plagued with an ankle injury for the past two weeks. Unsurprisingly, their only two losses have come in their last three matches. Unfortunately, things don’t look good for him as the quarterback seems to have not recovered from his ailments.
Kyler Murray set to miss out against the Seattle Seahawks
With Kyler Murray’s status for Week 11 still up in the air, it’s becoming more likely that he’ll sit on Sunday. According to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, who spoke with a person familiar with the issue, the Arizona Cardinals quarterback will probably rest ahead of the team’s Week 12 bye.
As per Rapoport, Murray wants to play against the Seattle Seahawks to make for his missed two games. But Coach Kliff Kingsbury doesn’t want to take risk. It’s much more likely that Colt McCoy will take over at quarterback.

Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury says the quarterback needs recovery time; “don’t want to put him in harms way”
Cardinals coach Kliff Kingsbury told reporters on Friday they will wait and see how Murray’s ankle feels in pregame warmups. According to the coach, Murray’s acceleration, which is his USP, is still an issue despite his progression.
“He’s getting close, but just the acceleration stuff that really makes him who he is at times,” Kingsbury said. “He’s gotta be able to use that to get away, escape, trouble with that he does naturally and instinctively, so we’re still trying to get to that point.”
Kingsbury also laid emphasis on the risk of Murray re-injuring his ankle. “If he can’t get away with what he’s used to doing then you don’t want to put him in harms way,” the head coach said. Get well soon Kyler!
