Joe Gibbs Racing Driver Drops a Major James Bond Spoiler for his Fans

In the Hollywood scene, it was the end of an era as Daniel Craig played the iconic role of James Bond for the last time. The 53-year-old English actor appeared in the Bond film, No Time to Die, recently. Suffice to say, many fans were eagerly rushing to the movie theatres to watch the film. Among them was ARCA Series star and Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Ty Gibbs, who absolutely loved the movie.

In fact, he even tweeted about it and paid tribute to the character. Unfortunately, he forgot the cardinal rule of being a movie-goer: never spoil the ending. As a result of his gaffe, several fans called him out on Twitter for spoiling the movie. Some of the fans forgave him, as they’d watched the movie already, but there were many others who did not.

What next for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver in his budding NASCAR career?

The youngster has already been hugely impressive in his limited appearances in the 2021 season. This includes four wins, five Top 5 finishes, and a 7th place finish at Richmond. Owing to his incredible performances, the Joe Gibbs Racing team has deemed him fit to reward him with a full-time seat.

Obviously, the driver is taking the JGR seat, though his racing number has yet to be confirmed. Gibbs will partner Brandon Jones, who will drive the #19 car, but the outfit’s third car still needs a driver. In essence, Ty Gibbs will take over from reigning champion Daniel Hemric, and Harrison Burton. Hemric will move over to Kaulig Racing while Burton graduates to the Cup Series, along with Austin Cindric.

Conventional wisdom suggests that Joe Gibbs Racing will retain the #18 and #20 numbers. Furthermore, the young talented driver could be in a strong position to take over the #18 car from Hemric. Now the question is, who will take over the remaining JGR seat in the Xfinity Series?
