Last night saw the Indianapolis Colts absolutely dismantle the Buffalo Bills 41-15. Destroying the AFC East heavyweights was made to look so easy because of the brilliance of Jonathan Taylor. The Running Back scored five Touchdowns against the Bills. Thanks to his performance, the RB set a new franchise record.

While his stats are simply extraordinary for his franchise, he in fact the best amongst all the Running Backs in the NFL. The Colts player occupies the apex position in three key metrics that define a Running Back. Among all the RBs in NFL, he holds the first position in the a] most yards covered (1,122), b] rushing TDs (13), and c] runs of 10+ yards [30]. Statistically, one cannot deny that he is the best RB in the league. With stats and fans backing him up, he certainly looks like an early contender for NFL MVP.

Indianapolis Colts Running Back showers heaps of praise on offensive setup of the team

The entire NFL world’s attention is on Taylor right now and rightly so. Despite that, the humble RB pointed out that he performs well because the offensive setup in whole does well. It’s a team effort according to him.

“The Colts’ offensive identity is all of us all together,” Taylor said. “Everything that you saw today was the culmination of the defense getting the ball back to us, creating turnovers, and then the offense being on one accord — being able to communicate no matter what front, what pressure they bring, being able to execute.”
