Kylian Mbappe is by far one of the best players in the world and currently plays alongside teammate Lionel Messi. The World Cup winner is still very young (22) and hence, he is also one of the biggest prospects in the transfer market. However, it is no secret that very few can afford him.
One of those clubs eying the Parisian is Real Madrid, who shockingly had a 190 million euros bid rejected. Hence, they are looking to sign him for free next season after his contract with PSG expires. While it is said that Mbappe himself is looking for a way out, his new teammate Lionel Messi won’t be too happy with his departure.
Lionel Messi talks about Kylian Mbappe leaving
In an interview with L’Equipe, Messi spoke about the rumors of Mbappe leaving next year. Messi revealed that he was extremely happy to play with the Frenchman after he decided to stay with PSG this season.
“Only Kylian knows what’s in his head and what he’s going to do. I’m happy he stayed here this year. He is very important for us,” the Argentinian said.

Speaking on his departure, Messi said, “Mbappé will decide at the end of the season.”
Paris Saint Germain had been very shrewd in the transfer market and had one of the most amazing transfer windows of all time this summer. They have assembled a super squad with stars like Messi, Mbappe, Neymar Jr., and Sergio Ramos, and many more.
The aim for their manager, Mauricio Pochettino, should be to make history and win the first UEFA Champions League for the French club.
Messi and his form at PSG
Messi has had the best time of his PSG career in the UCL. The forward has scored two goals and has helped PSG remain in the top two of their UCL group. However, things haven’t been the same in the French league.
While PSG was at the top of the table, Messi had been in terrible form. The Argentinian forward hadn’t scored a single goal in the league before last week. However, things will probably soon change, given his stature and greatness.
