The Anthony and Sam Freedman-trained stayer Delphi has been cleared to run in the Melbourne Cup but Matt Cumani's Future Score has been scratched following tests this morning.
Heavily backed Delphi and long shot Future Score needed to pass vet examinations before the final scratching time of 7.30am AEDT this morning.
Delphi was cleared to race this morning and will take his place in the race but Racing Victoria confirmed that Future Score did not pass the test.

Delphi has been a major mover in the betting markets, jumping from $34 to $17 after the barrier draw before news of his race-day check-up broke.
Champion jockey Damien Oliver is booked to ride Delphi.
According to Racing Victoria, Delphi presented signs of lameness in his left foreleg, while the Matt Cumani trained Future Score, had signs of lameness in his right foreleg.
The other 22 horses were all passed fit to race in the Cup.
Delphi hasn't raced since the Caulfield Cup on October 16 after finishing 13th despite going into the race as a heavily backed second favourite.
TAB reports that Delphi is one of the best backed runners in the past 24 hours.
Future Score is long odds paying $126 after his last poor start at the Moonee Valley Gold Cup on October 23.
