With the triple-header out of the way, F1 now heads to the final two races of the season. With the Saudi Arabian GP a fortnight away, there had been talk of a strict dress code. Do drivers have any limitations to their usual outfits?
When Saudi Arabia first announced its strict dress code, the organizers received immense backlash from F1 fans and the media. However, soon the regulations were removed.

Shorts, sleeveless shirts, dresses, etc featured on a rather extensive list of restrictions. With drivers almost always making their track walk casual with shorts. It was these regulations that faced a lot of backlash from F1 fans. Hence, the organizers were quick to backtrack on their word. “The Ministry of Sports has stressed there will be no dress code at the circuit not at any public places in Jeddah. This applies to everyone, regardless of gender.”

Saudi Arabian GP ready to welcome F1 to the Jeddah street circuit
With Qatar being a pleasant curveball to the sport, Jeddah offers a similar situation. With no information about the circuit and its data, we can expect yet another thrilling race at the circuit.
The circuit looks fast, and it looks intense. Second to the temple of speed at Monza, the street circuit is sure to produce some good racing. With a whopping 27 corners, it will be a winding 50 laps to the checkered flag.
Although the preparations of the circuit were done in a scurry, Jeddah is now ready to come alive to the sounds of F1 cars hitting the tarmac. Further, with the championship battle reaching its climax, it’s all to play for.
