Source Reveals the Impact of Tiger Woods’ Kids in Helping Him Recover From the Accident

Tiger Woods was in a terrible car accident earlier this year and has been in recovery since. Following multiple surgeries and months of recovery, Woods has made significant improvements after his single-car crash.

Much to the excitement of fans, he was spotted in Florida a few weeks ago. He was in golf attire and was out to support his son, Charlie, as he participated in a junior golf competition. Just a few days later, an insider told PEOPLE magazine that Woods had an ‘incredible recovery’ and that he had a fixed timeframe to return to golf.

Similarly, again, a source has released the latest statements regarding Woods’ recovery. Let’s see what they said-

Tiger Woods is a ‘Fighter’ reveals source

An insider told PEOPLE that Woods ‘lives for’ his children. His son Charlie, 12, and daughter Sam, 14 are his children with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. The two live with him, and Charlie has also taken after his father and plays golf.

The source said, “Being a dad has helped him stay focused on his recovery. At times, it’s been very difficult for him, both physically and mentally. His leg injuries caused him extreme pain. He is a fighter and has been determined to get better though.”

This, coupled with the news from earlier, is great for us! Initially, the source said that Woods was feeling strong and was optimistic about his return to the tour.

“He’s got a timeframe in his head, but he’s not really putting that out there; he knows when he wants to return, and he’s going to make it happen,” said the source. “He says even if he’s not at 100%, he knows how important it is to get back out there and compete. That’s his goal.”

However, despite his accident and not playing a majority of the year, did you know the golf legend is bagging $6.7 million? Yes! Thanks to the player impact program (PIP) which rewards professionals based on their social media popularity. The top 10 golfers on the list will receive payouts from a fund of $40 million.
