Adam Cole is one of the latest, former WWE superstars who made his AEW debut following his release from WWE. Cole is in AEW to prove a point. Not just to the wrestling fans, but to everyone in that AEW locker room.
The former NXT Champion has been undefeated in singles matches so far in his AEW career. But that record will again have to stand a test next week when Adam Cole battles John Silver.
Soon after the AEW president, Tony Khan, confirmed the match for next week’s AEW Rampage, Cole took to Twitter to reveal his thoughts on the match.

The former WWE superstar was not at all happy with this decision in the beginning. But recently, Cole took to Twitter to claim that he is one of the best wrestlers ever and he is ready to remind the fans that he is not “playing around.”

Adam Cole will look to prove a point against John Silver on AEW Rampage next week
It will not be the first time that Adam Cole and John Silver are in the ring at the same time. While Cole is a part of ‘The Elite’, John Silver is a member of their rival faction, The Dark Order.
The Elite suffered got defeated in this week’s AEW Dynamite when they took on The Dark Order in an eight-man tag team match.
Also, we have seen John Silver and Alex Reynolds get on Adam Cole’s nerves as they tried to befriend him on ‘Being The Elite’.
Thus, it will be the perfect platform for Cole next week to take out his frustrations on John Silver. By doing that, he will also prove a point to everyone in that AEW locker room.
It never really worked out for Adam Cole on the big stage in WWE. Even though he was regarded as one of the future stars, Cole failed to make it to the main roster.
Not to forget, Cole still holds the record for the longest singular reign with the NXT Championship at 403 days. Will Adam Cole prove his worth in AEW or will he again fail to make it to the big stage? What do you think?
