Chase Elliott Pledges His Allegiance to Tom Brady’s Buccaneers

The Super Bowl is still a long way away, but a few NASCAR drivers are already trying to make predictions on who will win. There were a variety of answers, and Chase Elliott backed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In fact, he and Martin Truex Jr. placed their bets with the Buccs to win.

Several other drivers had different answers. Kyle Busch backed the Denver Broncos ever since he was young. Meanwhile, Denny Hamlin opted to root for Washington, while Ryan Blaney had faith in the Browns. Finally, Brad Keselowski hopes that the Kansas City Chief avenge their loss last year. Elliott said, “I don’t know. It’ll be kinda cool to see the Buccs win again, why not.

Chase Elliott and company will be focusing on the 2021 Playoffs

Later on, the drivers will be competing at the Talladega Superspeedway. Initially, it was supposed to be held on Sunday, but inclement weather forced a reschedule to the following day. Admittedly, Chase Elliott will be eager to try and win, so that he can automatically qualify for the next Playoff round.

Currently, Elliott sits in 6th place in the Cup Series championship battle. So, he should be relatively safe from the drop zone unless something really dramatic happens. He is the defending champion and will be keen to snatch a second consecutive title. At the moment, his Hendrick Motorsports team is one of the strongest teams on the grid.

However, the likes of Team Penske and Joe Gibbs Racing have been establishing themselves as threats. Meanwhile, Elliott has to contend with his own teammate Kyle Larson, who is a strong title contender. Also throwing their hat in the ring are Joe Gibbs Racing’s Denny Hamlin, and Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney. The big question now is, who will win the battle at Talladega and get an advantage in the buildup to the Charlotte race?
