WATCH: Kyle Busch and his Son Racing at the Same Time at Different Tracks

Last weekend at the Bristol Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch was racing at the track. However, at the same time, his son, Brexton Busch, was racing around, but on a different track. Naturally, it proved to be a bit of a headache for spotter Tony Hirsch. This is because he had to keep an eye on Busch and Busch Jr’s races.

Nevertheless, he was happy to report that Brexton Busch had finished 2nd. He dutifully relayed the information to Kyle Busch, who immediately crowed, “Say that again, we’re 2nd? Hell yeah! All right!

Speaking of Kyle Busch, it was a tale of two opposites for the Joe Gibbs Racing driver. While Brexton finished 2nd, his father could only muster 21st fastest on the short track speedway. Now, he will want some redemption for his poor Bristol Motor Speedway showing.

What can Kyle Busch do now?

All that the #18 Joe Gibbs Racing driver can do is move on from that race and look ahead to the next few races. At least he can be glad that he managed to qualify for the next round of the Playoffs. However, he knows that everyone will be starting from scratch, so he cannot afford to relax.

At the moment, he seems pretty comfortable in 5th place, but he will need to rally forth to stay in the competition. This is because the points have been reset for the Top 12 as they begin the next round. In other words, poor old Kyle Busch will have to either win a race or string up some consistent results.

As an added spot of pressure, this weekend is his home race at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Naturally, any driver would love to win on home soil, and it could ease the burden off himself if he won. If he does not win, Busch will have to try again at Talladega or at the Charlotte Roval.
