The Bulldogs are set to round off their impressive buying spree for 2022 by signing Storm prop Max King and Souths utility back Braidon Burns within the next week.
Burns is in the Rabbitohs' extended squad for Sunday's grand final and isn't expected to get a run, but has put off any decision on his future until after the big game.
King, the son of St George wing legend Johnny King, is 24 and will add starch to the Bulldogs' forward stocks.
King made his debut for the Titans in 2017 and switched to the Storm two years later.
But in three seasons, he has been unable to break into the powerhouse Melbourne pack, playing just 12 top grade games.
After finishing with the wooden spoon and winning just three games in 2021, the Bulldogs have undergone a much needed cleanout.

Gone is a lot of dead wood and King and Burns will add depth and experience to a squad that struggled under pressure this year.
The Bulldogs have bought wisely, with the duo set to join fellow new boys Josh Addo-Carr (Melbourne Storm), John Asiata (Brisbane Broncos), Matt Burton (Penrith Panthers), Josh Cook (South Sydney Rabbitohs), Matthew Dufty (St George Illawarra Dragons), Brent Naden (Penrith Panthers), Tevita Pangai Junior (Brisbane Broncos) and Paul Vaughan (St George Illawarra Dragons) at Belmore next season.
