It is not often that NFL running backs are in contention to challenge for the league MVP title. But Tennessee Titans superstar, Derrick Henry, was part of that conversation in 2020. The swashbuckling speedster is an absolute monster on the football field.
He was a key component of coach Mike Vrabel’s deadly offense last season. Dubbed ‘King Henry’, Derrick was single-handedly terrorizing NFL defenses over the course of the 2020 NFL season.
His performances in the middle saw him join the NFL MVP conversation along with Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes, Tom Brady, and eventual winner Aaron Rodgers. Had the Titans mounted a deeper playoff run, Henry would have had a better shot at winning what would have been his first MVP trophy.
But Titans HC Mike Vrabel is banking on his star player to repeat his heroics from the previous season in the coming months.

“It just never ceases to amaze me. We just got to keep being in opportunities and being in football games where he can help us affect the outcome. That’s really what happened today,” Titans coach Mike Vrabel said via Tim Booth of the Associated Press.
