WATCH: Michael Bisping Roasts Colby Covington for Claiming He Will Walk Out to Lil Wayne’s Track at UFC 268

Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping recently mocked former interim welterweight champion, Colby Covington. The former reacted to the latter’s recent claims that he will walk out to Lil Wayne’s track during his rematch against Kamaru Usman at UFC 268.

‘The Count’, during his recent podcast, revealed how surprised he was when he heard ‘Chaos’ claiming to walk out on the rapper’s song.

“Colby Covington announces that he’s gonna have little Wayne walk him out for his rematch against Usman at UFC 268. That seems a strange choice. I didn’t have Colby Covington down as like a hip hop type of guy.”

This is not the end of it. He even mimicked Covington’s voice from his interview with Submission Radio. The former middleweight champion and his co-host then discussed the similarities between Covington and Lil Wayne. They termed them both as Donald Trump supporters.

Coming back to Colby, he certainly got his wish at last after weeks of desperation for a rematch. Recently, UFC supremo Dana White had announced in an interview about their rematch. Even prior to the announcement, he had claimed many times that Covington is the top guy to face Usman.

Covington and Usman had an instant classic 5 rounder match at UFC 245. He came close to dethroning ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ before the champ barraged him with critical strikes to pick up a TKO win.

Michael Bisping gives his take on Conor mocking Khabib’s late father

It’s a well-known fact that Khabib and Conor absolutely don’t like each other. They had an intense build-up to their blockbuster clash at UFC 229. In the end, ‘The Eagle’ made the ‘Notorious’ tap in the fourth round. Normally, the rivalries end after the face-off, but this is one rivalry that hasn’t yet ended even after 3 years.

After Dustin Poirier’s TKO (doctor stoppage) win over Conor at UFC 264, Khabib tweeted and wished Poirier for the win. However, his tweet directly or indirectly targeted McGregor too. He wrote, Good always defeats evil. Very happy for @DustinPoirier I hope you will get the belt end of the year.”

In reply, the Irishman targeted Khabib’s late father in a now-deleted post. Many fans and pundits of the game condemned his action for attacking someone’s family member.

Michael Bisping too was not impressed with Conor’s antics.

“It’s below the line. DC talked about it this week, he said he called Khabib straight away. And I say it all the time, you can talk about whatever you want.”

“You can talk about the fighter, whatever you want to say. But family needs to be off-limits. Certainly when they’ve passed away. But that’s not a hot take. I think the entire world is condemning him for that one,” he added.
