British heavy-hitter Daniel Dubois is ready to stage his US debut on the undercard of Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley at the Rocket Mortgage Field House in Cleveland. Still fresh from a win against Bogdan Dinu, Dubois, who plans to continue his knockout streak, has sent a stern warning to his nearing rival, Joe Cusumano.
In an active career of 16 wins and 1 loss, ‘Dynamite’ Dubois has achieved 15 knockouts so far. As he is often regarded as a modern-day Mike Tyson, he will want to live up to it and add Cusumano onto his list of in-ring victims.
Speaking with Behind The Gloves, Dubois said, “Every time I step into the ring I am [looking for a knockout]. So, it’s not about looking for it. It will come. Once I am doing everything right, Shane and me and the whole team, what we have been working on and staying focused and ready. I want this. I want this, you know. So, we will make it happen.”
Daniel Dubois has admitted to not knowing much about his upcoming opponent. That said, 33-year-old Joe Cusumano is a prolific boxer, touting a record of 19-3. He has 17 KOs with a knockout ratio of 77.77%. So, it’s clear that both the contenders can stop the bout with their shots.

Akin to Dubois, Cusumano has also bounced back from defeat with a sensational KO win in his latest fight. The 6’4” tall orthodox stopped Gregory Corbin in November 2020 and regained his momentum. Now, he can resurrect his name by having a shot at Dubois.
Daniel Dubois vs Joe Cusumano- The strong heavyweight affair
Following a win over Bogdan Dinu, Daniel Dubois grabbed the WBA Interim heavyweight title. Nevertheless, it’s not clear whether he will put it at stake against Joe Cusumano. As Dubois wants to earn a heavyweight world title soon, Cusumano can be his big test ahead.
Despite ‘Dynamite’ being the favorite against ‘Juggernaut’, Joe Joyce dismantled Dubois in 2020. Hence, the Brit star cannot afford to demean his nearing rival in Cusumano. However, he also has the reasons to voice his confidence and can look forward to advancing his win streak.
