“I Am Going to Give My Best Efforts”- Yordenis Ugas Sends a Stern Message to Manny Pacquiao

Manny Pacquiao has all the reasons and accolades to achieve a notable victory over WBA welterweight champion Yordenis Ugas. Being one of the all-time greatest of the sport, he is rightly the favorite on several parameters that cite him to have an upper hand over Ugas.

However, numerous factors offer a different scenario. 35-year-old Ugas is on a three-fight win streak and has been more active than Manny Pacquiao in recent times. So, he is confident about displaying his best side and has already shed views on facing ‘Pac-Man’ in his 31st professional appearance.

Before the fight, Ugas connected with the fans in an open press meet and addressed several scenarios. One of them was his next fight and ’54 Milagros’ didn’t hesitate to picture his prowess in front of the fans.

He said, “It means a lot for me to be able to fight Manny Pacquiao and if this is Pacquiao’s last time making his way in the ring, he will fight someone who is of the caliber like me. And we are going to put on a great fight for the fans around the world. But I am going to give my best efforts.”

Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao has shown interest in matching himself against Errol Spence Jr. in the future. Hence, Ugas can be his ticket to that fight. However, losing against the Cuban boxer will snatch away the chance and bring an unfortunate end to Pacquiao’s stellar career.
