Even though rumors were linking him to the Lakers organization, Lillard has set himself up to become one of the best options for many teams to sign. Despite the qualms he has, Lillard’s future is still in doubt as he continues to tease the fans with a move away from Portland.

However, the latest post shows him confusing fans with doubts lingering his move away from Portland. After getting drafted in 2012, the Portland TrailBlazers legend has not won an NBA title in his career. The occasional Dame Time moments have excited the crowd, but it never materializes in a serious championship run.
During his time with the Blazers, Lillard has averaged 24.7 points, 6.6 assists, and 4.2 rebounds per game in an incredible nine years in Portland. But as the saying goes, all good things should come to an end.

What are his options moving forward?
After claiming a gold medal at Tokyo Olympics 2020, the charismatic point guard looks to land his first NBA title. While Lakers signing Russell Westbrook denies hopes of him moving to the franchise, different teams can recruit him up.
There are two teams on everyone’s minds: the Philadelphia 76ers and the Los Angeles Clippers.
The 76ers offer an option of Ben Simmons moving to Portland after his ordinary career in Philadelphia. Simmons needs a change of scenario to get his mojo back because of poor performances in the playoff series against the Hawks. He was subjected to a lot of criticism from Phillys and a move to Portland would be a fresh start. With Embiid looking for a first NBA title, the combination of Damian and Joel would be strenuous for other teams to stop.
Despite losing Kawhi Leonard to an injury, the Clippers are another team who can try to bring in Damian. A trio of Lillard, George, and Kawhi would be mouthwatering. With Reggie Jackson, Terrance Mann, and a lot of other role players, the Los Angeles Clippers have a lot of pieces to trade with.
The legend of Damian keeps growing. The six-time NBA all-star provided incredible moments for the Blazers. Even though it comes down to never say never, the chances of a championship with Portland look bleak. But, with the aforementioned teams, Damian Lillard could finally land his first NBA title.
