The coronavirus pandemic forced an unforeseen postponement of the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. There were a lot of athletes who were eager to get back to normalcy and compete in the quadrennial event. But American gymnast, Simone Biles, was probably the most anxious of the lot.
Biles is one of the most successful female gymnasts to feature at the Olympics. The Ohio-born athlete has a total tally of 30 Olympics and World Championship medals. Biles is the most decorated American gymnast. Also, she is still just 24!

Here’s what NBC analyst Tim Daggett had to say about Biles.
“Simone Biles, when you look at her, the things that she is able to do are so beyond the realm of imagination of just about anybody in the gymnastics world. So she’s really pushed the sport,” Dagget said on the show.
