The clash will be an exciting one as both the fighters will look to make a mark on their UFC Fight Night debut. Baghdasaryan is looking to make a mark in MMA after cutting his teeth on the kickboxing scene.

Collin, meanwhile, is unbeaten since his second professional bout. He entered the Dana White Contender Series on the back of four successive knockout victories. His biggest victory thus far came against ace striker Muhammadjon Naimov that sealed his ticket to UFC.
Collin Anglin vs Melsik Baghdasaryan- analysis
If we compare their physical stats, Anglin stands at 5’9″ tall and has a reach of 71″. ‘The Gun’ meanwhile, stands at the same height with an inch lesser reach of 70″. The latter has a southpaw stance compared to the former’s orthodox stance.
Coming to their octagon stats, Anglin lands 5.87 significant strikes with an accuracy of 55%. ‘The Gun’ lands slightly better, with 6.8 significant strikes with an accuracy of 64%.
Anglin has a significant striking absorption of 3.47 per minute with a 58% defense rate. Compared to him, Melsik has 3.8 with a 53% defense rate.
Baghdasaryan boasts some serious power and is skilled enough, as evidenced from his fight against K-1 champ Yuta Kubo. This doesn’t look good for a striker as defensively weak as Anglin. But Anglin weathered everything Naimov hit him with and took over later.

But Baghdasaryan has possibly gained that experience to pace himself better after fighting someone like Buzukja. He may restrict himself from going all-out striking and instead just steadily take out Anglin.
He also possesses better grappling than Naimov. So it’s tough for Anglin to wrestle out Melsik unless the latter losses his steam towards the end.
