PC Gamers Overjoyed About Getting Another PlayStation Exclusive Soon

PlayStation’s recent acquisition of Nixxes means that gamers will finally get to play another PlayStation exclusive on the PC soon. PlayStation has some of the best exclusives that never really made their way to the PC. Now that PlayStation has acquired Nixxes, some of these games will finally come to the PC.

The decision to bring PlayStation exclusives to the PC has been met with an overwhelming amount of support from the gaming community. In a recent interview with Famitsu, Jim Ryan, the CEO of Sony Interactive Entertainment, confirmed that, though the process of bringing PS exclusives to the PC is in its early stages, PlayStation is still delighted to be working with Nixxes.

Is PlayStation titles coming to the PC a good thing?

A lot of people seem worried that PS titles coming to the PC might mean the PlayStation consoles will lose their utility. But that might not be the case. In fact, just last month Hermen Hulst, the head of PlayStation Studios, addressed this fear. “I want to emphasize that PlayStation will remain the best place to play our PlayStation Studios titles at launch,” he said. So no. PlayStation gamers sharing some of their exclusives with PC gamers doesn’t mean the PS5 is dead and isn’t worth buying.

Horizon Zero Dawn is a game that was initially released just for the PS4. It was very well received upon launch, and three years later the game finally came to the PC. It didn’t take long for PC gamers to fall in love with the game. The game looked gorgeous and played great. And if all PS games run on the PC like Horizon Zero Dawn, PC gamers will certainly be over the moon.

PS exclusives coming to the PC will also mean more opportunities in terms of sales. And that is certainly good for business. All in all, the decision has been well received. And there seems to be no reason to think it’s a bad one.
