‘He is Pissed Off’– Telli Swift Gives an Update on Deontay Wilder’s Mental State

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was all set to shoot for his lost crown against Tyson Fury in an epic trilogy on July 24th until the fight was postponed to October 9th due to Tyson Fury’s team testing positive for Coronavirus. While this derailment has put a few more days on Wilder’s camp, he doesn’t seem to have liked it.

Wilder’s wife, Telli Swift, gave an update regarding her husband’s mental state. Not to forget, Wilder is still training with Malik Scott and can be even deadlier by the time he faces Fury. However, he might be vexed to have his chance delayed by more than two months.

Speaking with TMZ, Telli Swift said, “I mean he is pissed off. I mean, what can you do. You have trained so hard, blood, sweat, and tears and then for someone to have covid.

“And Deontay’s fight with torn biceps, broken finger, bands on his arms, and he still fought. So, I just feel like with Covid when you have 16 days to the fight, he should still be able to fight and make it happen.”

Meanwhile, Tyson Fury might bring another deadly outcome to Wilder’s fighting fate and it may urge ‘The Bronze Bomber’ to take a step back.

After a dominant run of 42 wins, with 41 KOs included, Wilder suffered his maiden draw and defeat against Tyson Fury. As he looks to gain redemption this time, the trilogy is extremely important for him.

On winning the fight, Wilder would become a 2x world champion and will aim for a unification title fight ahead. But defeat can take him back to the criticisms.

Tyson Fury vs Deontay Wilder 3- Epic Trilogy

The third fight between Wilder and Fury was always relevant on the charts. However, no one expected it to happen this year. WBC titlist Tyson Fury was hoping to fight WBA, WBO, and IBF champion Anthony Joshua for a massive unification clash in August. But Wilder emerged out of nowhere and won his arbitrary right to attain the third shot at Fury.

It ultimately saddened several fans who were also hoping to see Fury vs Joshua. Nevertheless, Fury vs Wilder 3 also has its own importance and no other fight can fill its void.

Apart from settling the WBC championship of the division, the fight would also put a quell in the epic rivalry between Fury and Wilder. So, fans cannot afford to miss out on all the action the heavy hitters will deliver.

Whom do you see winning the trilogy? Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder?
