What are the challenges at TPC River Highlands?
The TPC River Highlands has Bentgrass from tee to green surrounded by Bluegrass fescue roughs. There are many lakes and ponds that make the holes exciting. The 420 yard par-4, 17th hole is intimidating. Players must fit their shot between the lake which covers the entire right side, and arduous fairway bunkers on the left. The approach shot will cover the water entirely, and with any wind, club selection is paramount. Crowds are always huge on this hole as they know this hole usually turns into a breaking point on the ultimate day.
