Highlanders get big boost for Super Rugby final

The Highlanders' hopes of causing an upset in the Super Rugby trans-Tasman final have received a major boost after two key players were declared fit to start.

Dynamic winger Jona Nareki and giant lock Pari Pari Parkinson were both under injury clouds for Saturday's clash with the Blues at Eden Park (5.05pm AEST), but coach Clarke Dermody named both in an unchanged squad from the one that outclassed the Brumbies in Canberra last weekend.

Inspirational co-captain Ash Dixon will play his 100th game for the Highlanders.
