Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 began on June 8. This new alien invasion theme bought a plethora of alien weapons, vehicles, and technology to the island. While this season was a drastic shift from the last, popular Fortnite data-miner, Hypex has hinted towards the possible return of zombies to the game.
Hypex took to Twitter, saying, ” We might get the zombies back in pubs next season, these zombies spawners were added along with the BR NPC spawners last update.” Zombies were first introduced into Fortnite via the Fortnitemares Halloween event. Epic Games has been consistently using this theme since 2017.

Zombies to return to Fortnite in Chapter 2 Season 8
Recent leaks have suggested that Epic will continue with the alien invasion theme this season. However, they will introduce the Fortnitemares Halloween theme next season. Given that Chapter 2 Season 7 is ending on September 12th, this lines up perfectly with the spooky season.
The popular Fortnite data-miner also gave us a glimpse of the types of zombies we can expect to see next season. These include the Brute [Basic, Major, Mega, Exploding] and Fiend [Basic, Major, Ranged, Poison]. In addition to this, it is also speculated that Epic will introduce healing NPCs into the game.
We might get the zombies back in pubs next season, these zombies spawners were added along with the BR NPC spawners last update (Brutes are the big zombies & Fiends are the small ones btw):

Starting Chapter 2 Season 8, it is believed that there will be healing NPCs around the map who will require you to perform emotes in exchange for their healing services. These NPCs are said to heal players using a chug jug. Additionally, each NPC will hold up to 20 chug jugs.
The feature I talked about a few months ago got updated, basically what it is is that some NPCs will ask you to perform some of these emotes (you don't have to own them) and they heal you with chug jugs the more you do them, each NPC has 20 chug jugs max!

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 has introduced some of the most overpowered items we have ever seen in the game. Firstly, up to five players can now hover around the map using UFOs. These alien vehicles even have laser weapons and teleportation abilities.
