The NRL has fined Manly centre Dylan Walker $10,000 and banned the star for one-game after assaulting a pizza shop worker last year.
Walker pleaded guilty to the charge in court earlier this month but escaped conviction and was handed an 18-month good behaviour bond.
Walker was originally facing two counts of common assault, but the second charge was withdrawn by police.
Walker pushed pizza worker Stephen Melani in the chest when he asked the NRL player to move away from his sister after Walker tried to enter her car, asking for a lift. A witness called police.
Sea Eagles coach Des Hasler went to Manly police station at 1.15 am after the incident to act as a support person at the request of Walker.
The former Rabbitoh was originally charged with two counts of common assault, but the second charge was withdrawn by police.
Walker will be required to undergo an education course as part of his punishment.
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Manly had been informed of the sanction on Thursday with Walker serving his one-week suspension over the weekend.
Walker has not played since round five due to a hamstring injury.
