In-demand Eels forward Nathan Brown has been re-signed by Parramatta on a new two-year deal.
The club announced on Tuesday that Brown, 28, was now signed until the end of 2023.
The deal was done despite Brown missing a signing deadline in March due to being unhappy with a two-year offer, leading to Parramatta pulling the contract at the time.
"I would like to congratulate Nathan on his new deal, which is exciting news for our members and fans," Eels GM of football Mark O'Neill said in a statement on Tuesday.
"From a team perspective, Nathan adds a level of aggression needed to compete at NRL level and is a vital part of our squad as we strive for a premiership.
"He loves playing in the big games and was rewarded with selection in the NSW Origin squad in 2020.
"Nathan was a previous Ken Stephen Medal nominee for his role as the Ambassador of The Children's Hospital at Westmead, and has emerged as a genuine leader on and off the field."
Brown debuted for the Blues in Origin last year, playing in a game two win and a decider loss against Queensland.
