NBA Fans Troll James Harden for His Ripped Jersey During Nets vs Celtics Playoff

Brooklyn Nets vs Boston Celtics marked the first time the Barclays Center home crowd saw all of their stars together. However, the slow 4-13 start for the Nets stunned them all as the Nets went 0/5 from the deep range to start the game. Stunningly, even James Harden stayed scoreless from the deep range until halftime.

Jayson Tatum started hugely for the Celtics, taking complete control of the offense alongside Kemba Walker. But just as he left after the first seven minutes and Aaron Nesmith entered for him, the Nets gained back their momentum. Still, what was it about James Harden’s jersey that made everyone go bonkers?

James Harden tore his jersey early into the game!

The Beard, as usual, had a decent start with his extraordinary playmaking early in the first two quarters. However, more than his game, his orange shoes, and that black Nets jersey turned the heads of the fans. Well, shoes made the headlines for being on-point funky, but the jersey attracted eyes for being ripped.

Early in Q2, in a play that missed the camera closeup, James Harden tore the side of his jersey, making it look weird. Just as his right angle came out on a showcase, Twitter began reacting to it –

In his initial 19 minutes of play, James had 8 points, 4 boards, and 6 assists, perhaps to cover for that humiliation. It was a tough night for the Nets and Harden’s jersey kind of reflected the same.

What must concern the Brooklyn Nets?

Surprisingly, the Nets went 0/9 from downtown as opposed to the Celtics’ 6/12 and that’s not good news for them. Kyrie Irving showed some early skills, making his moves against Evan Fournier to score buckets, but it all came too slow. Later, they picked rhythm with Kevin Durant taking the matters in his hands, but the Celtics still stayed ahead for most parts till halftime.
